Jim, do you know anything of the March 10 cutoff date that Intel has established for confirmation or reduction of PC chip orders with the boxmakers. If this cutoff date is for real we should then hear word from Intel soon after as to their prognosis for Q1 chip sales .

I think their services business is 25B probably with 30% margin.
I believe you are high on both - I think it is $20B with 23% margins - but I could be working with old info.

But the second part of that is right on - DELL would be a coup for IBM and would also give DELL an unassailable story as a systems provider. There is a lot required to keep the IBM team in check - that's probably why more has not yet been closed between DELL and IBM on services.
