Up here in the woods, death by broken cable has been very common. You have winches dragging and lifting enormous amounts of weight, often on a hi-line. Lots of snared tugging, even though it is the responsibility of the choker-setter to avoid this. It's impossible to get out of the way when it happens.

Apparently the most frequent meeting is decapitation.

Which has got to be a weird way to go.

"Ow. I can't feel my fingers."

"Look for his helmet, and see what's in it."

How long do you reckon you remain conscious? Can you wink?
