Aloha, Of course I know about the seasonal effect on Dell and the stuffing by Compaq, et al. I was commenting on it on the Compaq thread a week before I jumped on to the Dell thread. I fully expected Dell-nialists to defend their turf and make excuses for Dell and some of the excuses have some plausibility and I've used them myself in knocking CPQ. I did not expect them not even to know about the drop in market share and to call me a liar for mentioning, and try to prove I was a liar by quoting the same article from IFC that had the data. That went beyond idiocy. I always post my trades here. I have tried to educate you, but you just don't get it. I don't short, especially not stocks where the ignorati are in bubble mode. I buy puts. I prefer to make more than I can lose. At least 1000 of the posts here are me posting my positions as I put them on. And I have posted new Dell put buys since you've been visiting your betters here, so I'm surprised that even with your poor reading skills, you haven't noticed them. Not everybody who disagrees with me is stupid or ignorant. I disagree with Jim Kelly on Dell, but I think he has great reasons for owning it that I believe are wrong. I disagree with Gregory and had a good laugh at his goofus eps and sales estimates, but at least he gave it a try. And if he was right, Dell would have been a buy. Hell, I don't even think you are stupid. I do think you are a lazy investor who doesn't know squat about the cos. he owns and is, for whatever reason, unwilling to find out about them. Once again, read the thread a bit before you keep making comments like the ones about posting the trades. It is one thing to be proud of being ignorant, but another to trumpet it with every note you post. Who cares about ancient history? We are talking about what is happening now, not the fact that the share you bought 5 years ago is now worth enough to get you into the good seats at the opera. MB
