<<You really expect it to be 2-3 years before positive energy comes out from BA? What about the Helicopter and other departments growth?>>

I didn't actually say that. At $35, BA is not trading on the $1.14 of EPS earned in 1998, most of which came from the "defense" operations. With regards to the second question, even if these groups have a barnburner of a year, what do you get--an extra 10-15 cents/share? BA stock will trade on the speed and the upside potential of the commercial group in my opinion. Working against them is the production cycle turning down and the 2-3 years of less profitable backlog. In their favor should be the rather dramatic reductions in personnel for 1999 and beyond as well as any eliminations of unprofitable activities (commercial helicopters etc). I don't find BA stock to be an outrageous bargain at these prices.
