I don't know if it's a hoax, or if the "hoax" reports are a hoax. If you read this article: cnnfn.com it states that the FCC has cleared the way to allow ISPs to charge long distance rates for internet access. Here's a quote from the article: Gene Kimmelman, co-director of the Washington arm of Consumers Union, told CNNfn, "Ultimately, dialing up an Internet Service Provider will be treated as a long- distance phone call. Everything about the FCC's analysis indicates that this will cause a price increase for the consumer." Regards, Craig
