What are people buying ? DLJ picks ? & NOESIS capitulates ! Well Pappaya King - our friend George just capitulated and changed, errr ''revised'' his forecast for crude prices. He did hedge his comments as usual though .... I rest my case on NOESIS - bame, set & match. For DLJ clients - what are their top picks and why ? I saw their comments posted earlier, but not picks. Did they comment on HLX ? I agree with their stance; that the Street doesn't really believe how strong the underlying fundamentals are here. They will sell off this sector like the Plague if OPEC does not announce new cuts. But, they are also right - in that we will still outperform the market and will strongly. I like some E&P laggards - I have gotten a double in FEN off of its original blowoff; love MARY - got in yesterday at $15 1/16th, Love MLRC, RRC - a super misunderstood high debt- but cash flow strong pure gas play, looking at PETD again, more FEN, SGO-OEI perhaps, and a few micro caps that I can not share as yet...<VBG>. Also, got OMNI today, and am sitting at an unfilled limit of $3 15/16ths on HLX - yes the ying to FGI's yang.... I know the ''dog'' of the fab bizz - but I smell a 50% to a double play in weeks on a OPEC rally and short covering. price to sales is unreal - if their cost cutting is executed - they will rally . What is the rest of the Wild Bunch buying here and why ? Mo-Mo guys - you can chirp up as well ! damn RON/CAM near $30 again ! C'Mon - someone selloff some more VTS I want the $8's again just one more time ! Charlie Maxwell - very bearish of late; is now predicting new OPEC cuts on CNBC - says Chavez is a key.... hmmm ? I get nervous when the Street turns on a dime here - I am more of a profit taker than ever when I see this...
