Anthony, thanks for your site... following your SI board saves a lot of grief later. (This is a repeat post, so if anyone can help head me in the right direction, I would appreciate.)

Quick request (I had posted on public side earlier, but no response from anyone) -
Point me to a post or a site that will explain shorting as to why/when brokerages do/do not have stock that I can sell short.
I trade online with Eschwab and they said that "SEVL" was not shortable and would not be. Is their some hard and fast rule or is it somewhat of a game or laziness on brokerage's part. Stock in street name I thought was always shortable, and as much as Eschwab has sold long today, should have quite a bit.

Thanks/Keep up the good and needed work...

David II
