Burt,

The only way that AMD has a chance to make money is to actually be ahead of Intel in MHz. Intel's cash reserves make it impossible to compete on a level playing field.

Hopefully K7 will provide that opportunity. The Merced debacle has opened up a huge window for AMD.

But they chose that path and then walked it less than optimally.

The worlds best baseball players hit the ball about 1/3 of the time. AMD is batting over .500 for the past year.
