Ron,
The problem that overhangs the stk is the lack of visibility on the financing and the intentions of Greenway and their influence on Farah. If they could turn their website into the Woolworth's of old without all the overhead expenses then that "5 and Dime" inventory would sell well over the NET. Their problem is one of Merchandising. They have taken their "Afterthoughts" line and moved that beautifully which certainly was a core business before their Dark Age descent into disarray. Selling Athletic footware over the internet is laughable. But that is not the merchandising that got Woolworth to be a Dow component.
McKinsey would encourage getting back to their core business and spinning off the Athletic Footware into a public company. These aspects of their business are dystonic and need to be jettisoned. If Venator is the NEW Woolworth then they need to get back to basics. "AFTERTHOUGHTS" is the heart of their business and merchandising history and they need to realize that.

Still on the Sidelines
