What I meant was that there would be an agreement in which both sides won, neither "lost", and they both decided to drop the animosity...

Even if it is a converged CDMA-2000 and some features of the WCDMA, most likely it will still be something that fits into both ERICY and QCOM chip sets. the important factor is that the two would have decided to move on and make this happen, rahter then fight and send epitaphs each others way any more.
