ANADAC withdraws lawsuit on INS contract award to DBII:

biz.yahoo.com

My guess is, this is in part payback for the patent infringement hassle DBII put IDX through on the TP-600 technology. It doesn't help DBII profits or cash flow to have to deal with this kind of thing, either, especially if the INS contract price provides little or no profits to that company.

From the press release: "The action that ANADAC brought against the INS may have an impact on the delivery schedule previously announced, and the legal expenses incurred by DBI will increase G&A expense for Digital Biometrics for the quarter ending March 31, 1999."
