Just sold my ebay, gret profits! No way it can stay up there, might buy it back when it falls back down. AOL is a hopeless loser? Mmmm... if it keeps losing like it has been doing, I might retire early :-)

Jing,

Congratulations on your cable modem.

You'll soon realize that you no longer watch TV and that you will get most of your news from the Web. TV is so *passive* compared to the interactivity of BROADBAND.

In a few months you'll forget what Peter Jennings or Tom Brokaw look like.

You'll fall behind the storylines of ER and Friends.

And....you won't care. Take it from someone who has had a cable modem for a year. I can't stand to watch more than 30 minutes of TV but I can spend that free time in the blink of an eye surfing my fat pipe on the Internet.

*THAT* is why I am long ATHM.

I'm beginning to think that Ahhaha and Impristine have run off together? Imagine those conversations. ;-)

Regards,
Stuart

Jing,

I have the @Home network and cable modem too. Did you know that you can still access AOL through your cable modem at really fast speeds. Makes AOL more fun too.
