I've noticed similar things on the NYSE ticker, too, Gorak. Does anyone know how those tickers work? Obviously, every trade can't be represented or the tape would be going so fast you couldn't read it. How are the trades that are shown selected? Do big caps or high volume issues get shown more frequently than 'lesser' stocks?

Just wondering,

jim
