Doug,
Of course you are right, The best thing at this point that 3COM could do is break itself up and take the Pilot monopoly forward and rename themselves. "PILOT" Sell all other businesses before someone comes in and does it for them. They are a takeover target and the best they could do is realize the value in their other lines of businesses before someone else does it for them.

COMS is forming a bottom here but the word is still out on this as a real bottom. IMHO the stk still needs another week of trading to determine if 23 1/2 will hold. It would be safer to get in at 28-29 then to get in at this price. IMHO.

The real question for the 23 1/2 price is whether the NAZ (techs in general) are forming a top and that the perceived bottom for COMS is really the foreshadowing of a real top on the NAZ therefore only a temporary bottom on COMS that will be pierced easily as the NAZ corrects. HaHaHa makes sense?

Hi Doug,

I found your breakdown of the Palm Computing unit interesting. Funny story how I found it. I just bought a Palm V. Before I did, I searched the thread to look for any reviews/thoughts/etc. about it. Now having the Palm V in my hands, it makes me wonder about COMS as a play.

Starting Lurking Phase,
