A goose attacked my brother-in-law when he was a little kid and tore the heck out of his face.

I want nothing to do with them.

But he would have to let go of his briefcase, and that was to him his only defense, when you're dancin'.

He was jumping onto one foot, to keep him from getting ahold of his suit-leg, and trying to shove him away with the briefcase.

He was about to cry, I think.

That was his shield. I don't think he even had a snippet of time to take a wind-up swing with the thing.

There was some problem, in goose terms, and the goose had the upper hand. Goose was quite quick and ferocious and honky. Really noisy. Flappy.

I remember first thinking "It's just a goose ~ that's funny!" And then thinking, jeez. Glad that's not me. I like good geese ~ like in paintings.
