I've been gone for awhile and today I was looking at the PRWT on free Realtime.com and they showed no volume or any bid or ask all day. When I came to the old PRWT site I find a name change and the price quote below says $47. I have read a few posts and people are talking about a reverse split. Does anyone know what this is all about and how this affects a shareholder? Also, say if you had 20K shares, what amount of shares would one have know?

Any stock transaction requiring the registration and issuance of a new certificates is routed through the registrar, as well as through the transfer agent. The registrar keeps track of the names of the owners of the company's (issuer's) securities.

One of the major responsibilities of the registrar is ensuring that the corporation does not have more stock outstanding than can be accounted for on the company's books. Unlike the transfer agent, the registrar must be independent of the issuing corporation and is usually a bank or trust!
