Cisco, This practice has been going on for years. Big companies often file lawsuits against little people simply to get them to shut up, knowing full well that the little guy can't afford to defend the lawsuit. There's even a name for the technique, SLAPP lawsuits (or something like that). Recently though, some courts have been giving the little guy a big boost by awarding defense costs and penalties when the Goliath plaintiff has been found to be using the courts to ward off legitimate detractors.
