How can you tell if they seriously deviate from the majority? Because California voters told me so in the last election. The WORST performance of republicans in 40 years thanks to Mr. pro-life and values, Dan Lungren. There was a time of course when Democrats could win in Ca (like Brown) but that was eons ago and prior to the high tech money coming in. Now this state leans republican on virtually every matter - except the social values that the republicans preach. The RNC here had been quoting these bogus "majority think abortion is murder" polls just like the one you posted here. Well, the only poll that matters is the exit poll in my book.
