I agree entirely with your analysis -- and the strategy it suggests: sell into strength, buy on weakness. CMGI's volatility certainly encourages such an approach. One can always buy and hold, and I have a small core holding in CMGI. But risk management leads me to keep taking money off the table when CMGI spikes. With CMGI, there is a lot of room for different approaches. It produces a lot of winners, whether one is a short-seller, long-term investor, a daytrader, or a hybrid of all these. What a stock! What a company!!
