I believe it was reported the 8mm shares(total-being discussed) was approximately 2% of his 370mm share +/- holdings..The sales don't concern me..Intel concerns me,catch 22 Japan strength also is a concern,IMO..;^)DD
PS: I would love to know what he does with the cash though..divesting? Charity/tax benefits? Estate planning? Carefree spending? who knows...<g>

Sorry Frank,

I'm think theses are the same shares that have been posted on this thread for weeks now.
MD does this every time there is a split. This is NOT new. The media just picked up on it and of course are making it sound like a bad thing.

Frank,
Hi!!!

RE: I think somebody should speak of this to Mr. Dell at the next shareholders meeting and make it plain how suspicious this looks!!!

Should he sell half of his shares..then I'd be concerned....and of course you know he just doubled....

Best, Kemble

Hi Frank,

How are we shareholders supposed to feel when Michael Dell is selling after a downgrade?

I haven't kept up on the thread and I'm sure this has been mentioned but did you know that MSD has his own personal mutual fund. About six months ago I saw an article in a magazine (Business Week?) that Mikey has hired 2 (or 1?) hotshots from Wall Street to make investments for him and that he deposits millions (?) every month for them to invest.

Obviously I'm a little sketchy on the details but the bottom line is I wouldn't be too worried when he makes these periodic sales of his Dell shares.
