>>Zoltan!:Thanks for supplying new energy!

I remember vividly how Peter Jennings of ABC announced on the eve of the Nicaraguan elections, that according to their pollsters whatever happens tomorrow the elections will amount to a total repudiation of Ronald Reagan's Central American policy. Jennings gushed and predicted a huge victory for dictator Daniel Ortega and the Sandinista thugs.

Well, when the results were in Jennings, like so much of the clueless Left were abashed and aghast. He looked totally crestfallen. The people had lied to their pollsters! Why? Because the people of Nicaragua were smart enough to know that the foreign journalists were by and large fronting for the Sandinistas! Of course they had lied! That's what people do when they live under the murderous Left - everything becomes a lie for survival.

Funny thing though, Jennings never got around to mentioning Reagan's Central American policy that night, just how the Nicaraguans had lied to their people about their voting intentions. Not mentioned of course, was the impact of Reagan's successful policy for ending the Cold War by ending the Soviet Union which had borne fruit with the fall of the Berlin Wall less than three months earlier.

What sweet vindication - and delivered by the people of Nicaragua! And what condign punishment for those useful idiots and fellow travelers that supported the murderous totalitarians in Central America and throughout the world.

Btw, that murderous Sandinista dictator, Daniel Ortega, ran for President again in 1996 and was defeated by a conservative business man, Arnoldo Aleman.
