I understand, although I am not sure that you are right. After all, seniors voted Democratic by a larger majority than the boomers in '96, because of scare tactics over Social Security. Also, despite the portrait of the generation as a bunch of hippies, when the 18 year olds got the vote, most of them voted for Nixon, just like their elders.
