Let's hope another comment he made is true as well: "If in fact a tough environment proves to be a one-quarter phenomenon, Compaq stock may decline no further."

Where there's smoke, there's fire. I'll betcha that CPQ was in talks with TWX and I'll also betcha that they ultimately make a deal. Faber did come back and say that talks had stalled. El
