Frank,

My only problem was that BII's 4th quarter sales only went up $100,000 from the third quarter. This is the peak quarter of the year (Christmas, Hannukah, whatever). Other I-Net companies had sales double in that same period.
The company spent almost $400,000 more in advertising in the 4th quarter vs. the 3rd quarter and got $100,000. Sorry, I don't care about analysts expectations, I had my own. I expected $9-10 million in sales. I don't expect that almost zero sales growth to be attributed to "concentrating on margins".

John

Well said Fred. (I know your name is Frank, it just rhymes. I've had a bad day, can you tell?)

I for one, am not concerned at all. Even if I went to sell my shares tomorrow (don't worry, I won't), I'd still have a nice little chunk of cash. I never once expected the financials to be out-of-this world — in fact, they were where I had anticipated for a high-tech start-up which is standing poised for the stars. I also didn't think it would have much effect on the stock price. In my opinion, it is still where it was for the past week. Which tells me that there are still the same number of people who believe in this company. Some may get a little knock-kneed in fright, but the bulls came raging in to pick up those scaredy-cats' shares.

Denise.

Evans, an excellent common sense post.!!!---Back in the fall of 1998 we were all saying BID.COM had shag all to sell on there Auction Web site, that was true, compared to 1999 with all that added jewelry and sports stuff etc etc.--Therefore when you compare there sales to those Auction Internet Highliners with sales of US$40 and US$50 million, ---$20 million sales for BID.COM just starting out over the Internet is alot of stuff,!!! it can skyrocket from here on in.!!!Keep in mind the big US Auction players are doing all the ground work for BID.COM and BIDNOW etc by getting more people involved, and used to the Internet Auction GAME.!!!Internet Auction in 1999 is catching on "BIG TIME,"- EBAY didn't jump-up Cdn$200.00 to Cdn$300.00/sh. in the last month for nothing,!! Like many others I only heard of BID.COM the last Quarter of 1998.
