Thanks for the info. I think AMAT will beat the estimates this year, and perhaps next year. However, I think that the stock is already trading at huge valuations to those spectacular numbers and is therefore too risky as an investment (trading is another story though).

So someone thinks he can predict into 2001! Did he tell us in '96 what AMAT would earn today? Hell I'm even willing to accept a good prediction from 9 months ago. The bottom line is, the stock is priced for unprecedented growth. Such growth is possible, but not likely. So keep your ears to the ground for any fundamental news in the whole industry, and let TA guide your interpretation of the news.
