<<recruiting film. On the whole, it wasn't that informative. Yes, it does appear the gold is still there, but the interesting issue of who actually owns it wasn't addressed. >>

Wouldn't be interesting to have a to have a ""full inventory & audit""????

Excellent summary of the Army recruiting Ft Knox gig...but you missed one of the subtitles:

URBAN WARFARE PREPAREDNESS...as in Y2K Domestic Preparedness training from out of Ft. Dix, currently going full bore in the USA for over 14 months now...

Have a sobering thot Q for you, Dobbs...

Just WHAT would you do if one of those cutesy little tanks was in YOUR city, blocking all 5 of your bridge access/egress/exits?

Think it can't happen in America?

One thing I remember as we criss-crossed this great land in the 50's on family vacations, during those years of 2 lane roads...

the tanks in YOUR neighborhood may not be the latest ones...but I never will forget seeing them get shuffled around on flatbed trailers during those endless manuevers which tied up American's coldwar highways back then...

And if you don't think Americans will open-fire on American's...
well you just haven't been following the Ft. Bragg/Kingsville and Corpus Christi live-fire in civilian towns excercises currently documented and under the properly chagrined nose of George Bush's much loved son/progeny...

Oh, yes, INGOT we trust... All other hard metals? No, "t'ank" you.
