Actually, Ron I find very few bargains in the US, the few times I have been south of the border in the last year ... in fact, once I convert to US funds, goods are almost always more expensive in the US.

Well I would imagine the difference in prices must due to marketing strategies. I've always been amazed at how gas prices drastically change from state to state, and especially the price changes that occur between cities and country locations. (anyone who fills up in New Jersey before heading through the Holland Tunnel can attest to that).

Maybe those heavy taxes you guys place on your fuel sales subsidize food prices??

Regards,

Ron

Right on Mark,

Outside of a few items,eg.dairy products,it is cheaper living up north. Keeping in mind Canadian economy stinks to high heaven relative to US.When are our politicians going to wake up and lower taxes???Problably when it is far to late. Have not read one bearish report on the Cdn dollar lately. It seems all the analysts are bullish. Technicals are very bearish. Look out below????
