(OT) RWE of Germany has developed software which allows data transmission over electrical power lines. The system is 16 times faster than ISDN and will allow internet connection by plugging into an ordinary wall socket. Not sure what, if any, charges would be levied for this, but media see elimination of "long distance" bills. There will be no dialing of ISP's, the system will be always "on".

We can agree on one thing, John, and it is VISX.

The most intelligent idea you have expressed on the VLNC thread, as tough as it is, apparently, for you to admit it, is the reliability of the SEC documents as the single most reliable source of information with VLNC. Even allowing for the time lag (attributable to management's practice of releasing nearer the end point of legally mandated reporting deadlines) it would have given investors an edge over the information alternatives on this thread.
