I dropped in on the folks at BPON today with a friend of mine. We watched a 10-minute video of production at the Montana plant. Very impressive looking equipment! They showed a room with a solid 50 to 100 drums of zinc ore laden waste, huge storage tanks and some high tech looking MR3 processing machines. At the end of the video, we could see the zinc sulfate monohydrate pouring out into some huge plastic bags for shipment! During the video I was made aware of the fact that the people sitting on the conference room table were the auditors from Berg & Company. I was pleased to see that, to say the least. For me that was a further sign that this company is serious about becoming fully reporting. I also met the company CFO, Felecia Vernon-Chancey. She (and I) are both alumni of Coopers and Lybrand, San Francisco Office. She seemed very bright and highly professional. IMHO it is rare for a stock at this price to have a dedicated big-six professional working for them! A good sign, that somebody that can get a job almost anywhere is with this start-up…. The highlight was our brief introduction with Steve Schorr. Steve has the word "visionary" written all over him. He spoke to us briefly about plans for expansion and increased production for the Butte facility. Hopefully news will be released soon about this when whatever deal it is they are working on gets inked. Despite the lackluster performance of this stock over the last month or so, I remain incredibly excited about its prospects. No way to know for sure, but if their technology does, (and it looks to, from the video) what it is supposed to do, then watch out people who lurk on the sidelines; this stock could be a real high flyer. The risk is to buy now while it is cheap, with greater reward. For those more prudent than myself, (I'm playing with house money from internet stocks) wait until new comes out, but be prepared to pay a lot more….
