Jeffrey,Anyone else going? Jeff San Jose is to far from Missouri. However, I am sure that the AMAT site would appreciate all those attending to give us a thorough briefing of what takes place at the meeting. Perhaps we need some discussion regarding the Pro's and Con's on the various proposal which we stockholders are to vote on: (1) Directors Recommended, (2) Increasing the employee stock purchase plan to increase the number of shares issuable thereunder by 8,000,000 shares and (3) Bylaw amendment so as to require stockholder aproval to adopt a new stockholder rights plan or to renew its existing roghts plan. I am affirmative on the first two proposals but need clarification, rationale for proposal three (3). Any reactions from others on this site who know the pro's and con's regarding this proposal? I lean toward CEO Morgan's position since I have confidence but will consider others point of view. Just my opinion. Paul
