What kind of Ricoh do you have and what sort of problems?

Model 6201S. I make lots and lots of coasters..almost always at the closing of the session... I have tried the drive on two different motherboards and three SCSI host adapters and two software programs including Adaptec Easy CD..all with the same results. Most of the coasters have been made on one set of media..I have had better luck with alternate media but still not very consistent.
