While a little undue speculating is beginning on post 1588 below, I think this thread has done a very good job today dealing with this unexpected and unusual incident. Let's not forget that, when the suspension began, it was well into the late evening on a Friday night in Russia/CIS. The super-critical joint statement from LEAH and D & T (CIS) may be difficult to accomplish until the key parties can be gotten together by phone. It could be over the weekend, but that's what we do in America. My guess is that any formal statement would not come until Monday. It is, however, important that it occur timely Monday.

My estimation of the chances that D & T isn't really retained and working are very close to 0. Period.

The possibility that some piss-ant market maker can call the SEC, spew some bullshit he read from some (stupid) message board posters, and get a stock shut down for 2 weeks is quite disturbing! I am waiting to find out more about this-but:::while I think you would all agree with me that the little MM should be hung high, we have a very legitimate beef with some pumpkinheads it the SEC also. Is there not a way to complain about such (potential) bureaucratic incompetence?

Andrew H, I think many investors in Leah owe you a lot in the way you have handled this situtation. Your ability to contact Birte Boock so quickly and give us his assurance that this is all a big mistake was very comforting. You are certainly a very talented person. I'm certain you are correct in that the SEC acted in a very impetuous and irrational manner in suspending trading of LEAH. Wouldn't you like to know what the shorts told them to make them take this type of action? Is there any way you can find out. Because of you, a lot of nervous investors are going to sleep better tonight. Could you give us your address so that many of us could send you something to reward you for what you are doing. I know I would like to send you something.
