insanely picky, they all have to be exactly the same size, no spots, etc. Yipes! You said Japs! LOL!

They object to taht, you know. That's why you said it I assume. I am looking forward to cross breeding with the Japanese (not me personally, the overall concept) to see what sort of mutants are obtained.

One of the prettiest women I ever met was half Black and half Korean.

But, there is a dark side. Godzilla and Bigfoot, for example.

I like mangoes. I don't know what they taste like if you let them ripen on the tree, but we get Guatemalan mangoes at Costco, Tommy Atkins, about a pound each, 9 to a box, for about $8 a box in season. I have learned to sort through the boxes and take out the ones that will never ripen, and put them aside, and fill the box only with ones that will ripen properly, they just need a red streak on them, even if they are green. If they don't have a red streak, they will just rot. The bigger the red streak, the better.

I used to feel guilty taking the "good" ones, but half the time some of the boxes have rotten ones to begin with, so if I take those out of a couple of boxes, then I have space to mix and match the good ones that are left. Most people will look at the box, if there is one bad one in it, just set the box aside. Once I start sorting through the boxes, other people get the idea and do it, too, and I think they sell more mangoes the way I do it.

I buy a couple of boxes a week, eat maybe two mangoes a day in season.
