OK, friends! We can all relax and dissolve this thread. I just watched the Wall Street Journal Report on CBS, and the reporter, Carol Masser, interviewed a spokeswoman from the Securities and Exchange Commission. The spokeswoman assured all of us that the problems we complain about most often occur because WE are too stupid to understand how the system works.

Didn't get a timely trade? Well, dummie, it's your fault!

Get a confirmation online that proved to be not accurate? Man, are you stupid-- you should understand that you need VERBAL confirmation from a broker!

Can't get online? Well, if you weren't such an ignoramous, you'd know that no system is perfect, so quit bitching!

Now that we've all been set straight by an agency of the US Government, we can shut down this thread! Good to have known all you stupid people out there, and I hope you get smarter in the future!

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING INTERESTING ABOUT DAYTRADING?

How about the fact that perhaps only 30 percent of people who attempt to DayTrade succeed. So what happens to the rest? They lose money and eventually quit. How do I know this? Read on…

I have been a student of the financial markets for almost a decade, and have a considerable amount of DayTrading experience. I was employed by a Wall Street hedge fund, and also helped build an on line DayTrading brokerage firm. I have interviewed hundreds of traders throughout my career, and am the author of a newly published book on DayTrading.

To anyone reading this post, I give this free advice:

IF YOU WANT TO BE PART OF THE THIRTY OR SO PERCENT THAT SUCCEED, BE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WELL INFORMED.

I Will take this a step further…If you are DayTrading now, and are using an inferior trading platform, you are setting yourself up for disaster.

If you are not currently DayTrading, and thinking about jumping into it, I STRONGLY urge you to EDUCATE yourself on every aspect of DayTrading before placing trade one!

This message is not intended to dissuade people from DayTrading. It is intended to dissuade people from taking an uneducated leap into this extremely challenging (and potentially rewarding) profession.

BE CAREFUL, AND BE INFORMED!
