ahhaha pops up now and then where gold gets interesting. His opinions are usually quite interesting and very well written. In the past, he has expressed rather bullish, though conservative, views on gold. However, he now appears to view gold as little more than another commodity.

Even within this myopia, his assertion that some commodities are not occasionally and successfully manipulated is both naive and unfounded. Apparently, ahhaha is completely ignorant (or feigns ignorance) of the political and now systemic effects of gold pricing. This is odd, as from my recollection, his past writings did not exhibit this particular vacancy.

Bill Murphy may not have all the facts, as few -- if any of us -- do. But there are more than enough bits of evidence that things are and have been going on covertly, and not just in the gold market.
