"Why The Hell" did the stock drop over 40%?? Are my
missing something here?? A stock just doesn't drop over 40% when things are going well!!

Dell is off 32% (are they a sinking ship?), It is true on a relative basis we have dropped more; however, I am not ready to
concede.... I think the market has overreacted and come Dec. this will not be a topic of discussion.
And hasn't the market fully ignored the Alta Vista spin; surely most would agree the DEC acquisition
it starting to look like a bargain. I see Alta Vista garnering a market cap of 4 to 5 billion. The market
compares CPQ to Dell, but we are setting sites on IBM.
