Remember when just the computer went sub $1k. And everyone said that the margins were so lousy.
Well today, Worst Buy has an IBM 350mhz K6-2 loaded, with a monitor and printer for $899.99.
So the price continues to drop, customers get more for their money,
and there is plentiful supply from which to choose.
Where are those margins now?. It's hard to believe that the boxmakers
can make money at these low prices. This is a dog of an industry.
