rudeog: The various channel partners placed multiple orders and in some cases ordered from each other in an attempt to get as much of the scarce allocation as they could. But when material started coming through, many of those orders were cancelled This sounds like the real world. But it is scary in the sense that so much of the market's perception of supply and demand is influenced by what the channel tells enquirers. It makes you wonder just how reliable are (a) surveys and (b) analysts soundings.
