Frank

Thanx for the explanation. I guess then that my supposition to Steve was accurate: IDT is employing switches in it's network that are capable of data networking as well as traditional voice or PTSN. Correct?

Therefore, ALA's slowdown in the traditional switching business would make sense in light of the fact that everyone wants IP switches now, and they could very well be back logged in making those kind of switches.

Frank, noticed you posted this Sunday night - how did you know about the Excel deal? Or were you simply mentioning them as an example.

Given how much Excel has grown in the past few years, do you think this deal is significant - I ask coz. their business model is moderately weak.

Finally, I sincerely doubt that any carrier at this stage is purely IP - to the best of my knowledge they are all using a combo - IP/Circuit switched.
