Tiger USA, this is one of the problems I see with what Bid.com is doing. If they have demand for computers isn't that what the customers are in effect saying 'they want'? Does it make sense to be cutting back on a category of merchandise that they know they can sell? I don't know about the US marketplace but I can tell you that here in Canada, the Computer business is a lot (let me repeat that - A LOT) bigger that the Jewelry business. In addition there is the question of "who buys jewelry on line?".

>>Just take a look at their site and see how many PC's are for sale. Each variety has only 1 or 2 for sale at any given time. If they increased that number they could instantaneously increase their revenues.
