That fantasy diatribe of Rande Is was actually a good Rorschach test for investors...if one believes that it's real, one should definitely move into mutual funds. At least there you have a chance that the fund manager is in on the conspiracy, and therefore you won't suffer from it. If you believe it's real, how are you going to beat it?

Of course that article was a fantasy. It has the SEC at the beck and call of short sellers, and thinks that it's strange that short sellers are attracted to sudden large moves upward. Gosh, maybe the stock wasn't overpriced at 3, but at 10 it's at nosebleed levels? What a far out thought. Of course it's a fantasy, an attempt to explain things that the writer doesn't understand. It's a lot easier to blame the shorts than to realize that you should have sold when you had the chance. Take a look at SEC enforcement actions for stock manipulation. I have yet to see a case where the guilty parties weren't found in violation for manipulating prices up in order to sell overpriced stocks to gullible longs.

Of course a call to common sense proves that the fantasy is reality, doesn't it?

Hey Max...how goes the battle.??

I found it to be interesting reading.. the darkside folks sure are sensitive to anything critical of their methods.

If one honestly believes the shorts don't have close contacts in the media that are used to manipulate the contact, bias and timing of stories they're folling themselves, AND they are trying to foll you and me.

I believe the longs do the same thing..the differnce is when a company uses the media or press releases to manipulate or hype their company or stock they get sued. The "darkside" folks take their money and run.. SEC investigations in this area are overdue and welcome. This has nothing to do with Race specific, just in general.

Have a great week Max..
