I don't believe it can be done to call a regular phone at the moment.

The impact on Aastra that I see from this development is strictly a colateral one based on the cost of caller-id declining significantly - as you know, caller-id products are one of Aastra's main product lines.

Subscribers with caller-id service are in a minority today but if it became very cheap, many would consider taking advantage of it and upgrading their phones, or at least buy a caller-id adjunct.
