It does say right in that NR that written documentation is required, as per the original agreement.

That's exactly what it comes down to as I've been saying since the rumor first surfaced. Close only counts in lawn bowls and curling. Definitely no cigar in Joint Ventures.

Litigation will likely hurt the share price in the near term regardless of the outcome. It may be viewed as having the potential to hold up any decisions regarding development. Hopefully we don't end up in a situtation similar to SUF. I'm sure the analysts will be working overtime trying to figure out the share split component as well as the legal ramifications.
