steve, Sure seems like it is coming. Talk about privacy....I just found out that some how........I have subscribed to the Amazon.com newsletter....and that they will not sell my personal information....but may in the future, only to qualified 3rd parties....Man, I feel better..... They are also going to pay for any credit card fraud......Hmmmmmm. Bet that changes in the future. (how on earth are they going to this?) I guess I also subscribed to First Auction, also.......I had no idea....Somebody is selling my E-Mail address. I feel so used....so dirty. bg

This is a good move by the biometric industry, and I'll be interested in just what principles and/or legislation they are endorsing. It shows that they understand the need to separate themselves from the Intels of the world. I think that the people in the authetication business can afford to be privacy-friendly, and have a strong need to take that side, since they are dealing in templates of fingerprints and other human characteristics. By the way, if you look at the IBIA link, Identicator is a founding member. IDX doesn't seem to be there, although I have heard that Fowler is active in this effort.
