This is all nonsense, and doesn't belong in this forum anyway. Sounds like something from the US lunatic right.

Just an example: the questioning which is going on in Japan is exactly the opposite of that which is reported - not about US resolve, and certainly not to look at the alternatives (implied PRC) but rather to see whether the US bases which are a relic of the occupation, and really have stayed there because of the cold war, are still needed.
