Price ALWAYS drives sales. at larger companies, usually not. larger companies are not worried about the price as much as the quality and insurance that they can get tech support and service. smaller and mid-size will examine price more. this has been my experience. if i get a chance i will see if i can get hold of gartner research report showing how large companies decide to purchase such products. without knowing much about the idtc switch, the csco 12000 gsr and lu has packetstar ip gateway 1000. you would know better if these could compete with products from ala or nortel.
