True, and a noble cause. However, most carriers and RBOC's have already chosen their ATM technology. It will be easier pulling alligator teeth than displacing the likes of CSCO and LU/ASND. LU realized this, and had to pony up 20 bil to resolve the problem. FORE is left to scrapping for equipment wins from brand new carriers such as Level 3. How many more Level 3's are going to pop up and how fast? They have lost 90% of the market before they have even started.

Walter, FORE blew almost all the acquisitions made over time, including that, or those, that would have given the company an entrance into this market.
