The following article is on Qwest, but I think the implications apply to WCII as well...

L,

The EBIDTA issue was critical to me when it was announced that New York went positive, all the discussions occurred on the predicted length of time for each new market to become positive, and when WCII would be as a whole positive. It was the seed necessary to become fully invested in WCII.

Now, we are discussing international promotion, and EBITA seems to have gone by the wayside. This caused me to completely sell all of my holding, and recently repurchase at a lower price, less, and with more caution. If my feelings and position is typical of the market as a whole, It is understandable why this recent sell off with the positive report occurred.

L-

You have some good points here. I do agree that WCII could do better in the P.R. side re: "the street". Perhaps that's where Vogel comes in.

There is a two-edged sword in leading edge growth. It would appear that the quest for the EBITDA positive is secondary to the drive to expand WHILE THE OPPORTUNITY IS STILL THERE. Tough choice; my portfolio would prefer the profits NOW, but time is of the essence in laying the groundwork for the global network. The EBITDA will surely follow, and the capital backing is there ie no worries about cash flow. The sixty billion dollar question is WHEN.

I suppose therein lies the P.R. challenge: how to convince investors NOW that the holy grail in WCII is it's potential, not instant profits. Tough sell. But it can be accomplished.

Takeover? I don't think so. Look for these rumors as a good tip on trading. It's pretty predictable.

Yes, we would all like to hear more information. I can only assume that management has its reasons for keeping so many cards close to the chest, for now, and I personally have to respect that judgement.

Best regards, bg
