>>Has anybody seen this yet? Pfeiffer is talking big time! Let's have a laugh at him!<<

In my opinion he is nothing but a deceitful lying con artist who plays flim flam and hurts Compaq investors. They should fire his f**K**G ass and get somebody with more character and business ability.

5fer's obviously DELLusional. He can talk all he wants, but the numbers will speak for themselves. He apparently isn't tuned into the DELL/IBM news either... Go figure!

<<''We have positioned ourselves in the enterprise solution space with total capabilities, with the products, with the platforms, and with the services. That is something Dell cannot compete with,'' he said. ''Dell is obviously trying to put together the pieces but, if it ever happens, it will take a lot of time.'' >>

5fer (Mr. CPQ) needs to do his homework before he makes comments like this. He clearly doesn't understand the power of DELL's virtual integration model. IMHO, in the next 18 months DELL will take more PC, server, and storage market share from Compaq than 5fer could even dream about. Compaq loves to talk (to rationalize their performance and keep investors calm) and DELL loves to execute.

I'll BET ON DELL ANY DAY OF THE WEEK <VBG>!!!

Regards,

Scott

RE: Pfeiffer's continued attempts to trash Dell

It has been my general experience that, in a rivalry, the party that feels somewhat threatened by and inferior to the other party is the one that frequently discusses the other and tries to point out its comparative advantages over the other. The stronger party just keeps on performing and it eventually becomes obvious to everyone that it is indeed stronger.
