Dorine, that's an average rate of growth for the Chinese Internet of 266%/year over the next 6 years, during a time when the US internet growth is projected to be 50%/year. (Using the numbers provided for projected US & Chinese users in 2005 from your reference) Once a Dilbert type Engineer, always an Engineer.... gotta put things into numbers for me to understand them.

Dorine: Great find on the Chinese Internet Market -- it is going to be HUGE...and the great thing is that investors are just starting to appreciate this. We are fortunate that we have positions in DELL and XNET. In the next 5-6 years China will be buying A LOT of PCs, servers and storage products. IMHO, DELL is clearly in the best position to be the dominant supplier. Yet, everyone has to get connected to the net and then they start doing transactions regularly. XNET is in a great position to be a leading Chinese ISP that offers a full range of services. I think I'll be dreaming about China tonight--the potential is mind boggeling <gg>!! Sleep Well.
